Samuel A. Kidston, CFA, is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of North & Webster, LLC. Mr. Kidston has primary responsibility for managing client portfolios. Prior to founding North & Webster in 2006, Mr. Kidston was an equity analyst for the small- and mid-cap equity team at BlackRock, Inc. He specialized in analyzing and investing in Financial Services and Energy companies. Mr. Kidston began his career as an equity analyst at Delphi Management, a $1 billion value style investment management company.  During his time at Delphi, Mr. Kidston was a generalist, analyzing and investing in a diverse array of publicly-traded securities. Mr. Kidston is the non-executive Chairman of the board of directors of SED International Holdings, Inc.( OTCBB: SECX), a $500 mil. (sales) multi-national distributor of electronics, the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Sport-Haley, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SPOR), a leading golf apparel company, and a member of the board of directors of EZENIA!, Inc. (OTCBB: EZEN). Mr. Kidston earned a BA degree in Philosophy from Wesleyan University, and received his Charter as a Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Boston Security Analysts Society. He currently lives in Somerville, Massachusetts with his wife.
